תקנון ומדיניות ביטול עסקה / Terms of Use & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: January 13, 2026
Welcome to Hebrew Hayom (“Hebrew Hayom”, “we”, “us”). These Terms govern your purchase and use of our digital courses and participation in private and group tutoring sessions (together, the “Services”).
By accessing our website or purchasing/using any Services, you agree to these Terms.

Services
We offer:
Digital Courses: Streaming videos and downloadable materials (PDFs, audio, etc.).
Private Tutoring: 1:1 sessions online (e.g., Zoom).
Group Sessions: Live online group lessons (either one-off sessions or multi-session programs).
Accounts, Access, and Fair Use
Personal Use License: Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the materials for personal, non-commercial learning only.
No Sharing: You may not share access credentials or course materials with anyone outside your personal use.
Monitoring / Anti-Sharing: We may use reasonable technical measures (including IP/device/session signals) to detect fraud or account sharing. If we reasonably believe your account is being shared, we may suspend access while we investigate. If a violation is confirmed, we may terminate access and deny refunds to the extent permitted by law.
Intellectual Property
All content and materials (videos, PDFs, worksheets, audio, lesson plans, branding, and teaching methods) are owned by Hebrew Hayom or licensed to us.
You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, publish, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.
No Recording: Recording of live lessons (private or group) by the student is prohibited without prior written permission from the teacher.
Live Sessions: Scheduling Rules
Time Zone: Unless stated otherwise in writing, scheduling is based on Israel time (Asia/Jerusalem).
Late Arrival: If you arrive late, the session still ends at the scheduled time.
No-Show: If you do not attend, the session may be treated as delivered (see cancellation rules below).
Consumer Cancellation Notice
Where Israeli consumer cancellation rights apply, you may submit a cancellation notice by any legally recognized method, including email. Your notice should include: Full Name, Purchase Details (date, service), and the Email/Phone used at checkout.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Since most Services are provided via distance sales (online/remote), the following applies to distance transactions under Israeli law. Nothing here is meant to reduce any non-waivable statutory rights.
Transaction Details: Upon purchase, we will provide you with all required details, including a summary of cancellation rights, as mandated by law.
A) Digital Courses (Streaming + Downloads)
General Rule: Under Israeli law, cancellation rights do not apply to “information” (digital content) and similar categories that can be copied/duplicated/consumed upon access (e.g., streaming videos or downloadable PDFs).
Goodwill Policy (Before Access): As a goodwill gesture, if you have not accessed the course (no login/streaming/download), we allow you to request cancellation within 14 days of purchase. A cancellation fee of 5% or ₪100 (whichever is lower) will apply (where permitted by law).
Once Accessed: Once you access any course content (login, streaming a lesson, or downloading files), the purchase is final and non-refundable, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
B) Private Tutoring (One-time or Packages)

Statutory Cancellation (Distance Sale): Cancellation is generally available within 14 days of purchase (or within 14 days from receiving the legally required transaction details, if later), provided the cancellation is made at least 2 non-rest days before the service begins, where applicable.
Rescheduling Policy (Operational): You may reschedule a booked private lesson with 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice (or no-shows) will be charged as a delivered lesson except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
C) Group Sessions / Group Programs (Online/Distance Sales) This section distinguishes between (1) one-off group sessions and (2) multi-session group programs/courses:

One-off group session (single scheduled session): Cancellation is generally available within 14 days of purchase (or within 14 days from receiving the legally required transaction details, if later), provided cancellation is made at least 2 non-rest days before the session, where applicable.
Group program/course (multi-session “חוג/קורס” with a start date): Under the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, cancellation of “חוגים וקורסים” is permitted within 14 days from the agreement, provided the cancellation is made at least 14 non-rest days before the start date.
Ongoing services: If a group arrangement is legally deemed an ongoing service, cancellation and any refund (if due) will be handled as required by law (generally pro-rated where applicable).
After the deadline: After the applicable statutory deadline, enrollment is non-refundable, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
D) Refund Processing Where a refund is due, we will process it as required by law and to the original payment method. Where the Cancellation Regulations apply, refunds are made as soon as possible and no later than 14 days.
E) Cancellation Fees Where a cancellation fee is permitted by law, it is 5% or ₪100 (the lower amount).
F) Special Statutory Groups Senior citizens (65+), new immigrants (Olim — as defined under the law), and persons with disabilities may have extended cancellation rights (including up to 4 months) under Israeli law in certain circumstances.

These extended rights generally apply where the purchase involved a direct conversation (including chat or email) between you and us prior to the transaction.
For certain time-sensitive services, the law may require notice in advance (e.g., at least 2 non-rest days for a one-time service; at least 7 non-rest days for ongoing services).
We may request documentation to verify eligibility, as permitted by law.
No Guarantees; Limitation of Liability
Educational Outcomes: Learning outcomes depend on many factors (effort, practice, prior knowledge). We do not guarantee a particular level, exam score, or outcome.
“As Is”: Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages and are not responsible for issues caused by your internet/technology or third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom outages), to the extent permitted by law.

For official inquiries or formal notices under these terms, please direct correspondence to the operator at hebrewhayom@gmail.com or by phone at +972587506079. The business is registered under number 319122354 and operated by Aviv Sabati.
Conduct
We may remove a participant from a live session for abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior. If removal is due to serious misconduct, refunds may be denied to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and disputes will be brought before the competent courts in Tel Aviv–Yafo, Israel.
International Users: If you are outside Israel (e.g., in the US), you acknowledge these Terms are governed by Israeli law, but nothing limits your mandatory rights under your local consumer laws.
Privacy & Data Protection
Compliance: We comply with Israel’s privacy and anti-spam requirements as applicable.
Data Collection: We collect personal information (such as Name, Email, Phone, and Payment history) solely to provide the Services, issue receipts, and communicate with you regarding your purchases and service delivery.
Third Parties: We do not sell your personal data. We use reputable third-party services (such as payment processors and streaming/meeting platforms) to deliver the service.
Security: We use reasonable measures intended to protect personal data; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Mailing List: By signing up, you agree to receive transactional emails. We obtain consent for non-transactional marketing where required by law. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in the email.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the latest version.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our control (e.g., war, strikes, technical failures, pandemics). Sessions may be rescheduled or refunded pro-rata where feasible and where required by law.
